As we enter into the season of Easter and celebrating life and life-giving theology we start with a focus on creation. There is a rhythm to life and we are part of it. Our stewardship of and connection to the world are important parts of our theology. So many of us find a deep peace when we spend time in nature. There is something beautiful and sacred in the sky, the birds, the plants, the animals, and the water. Our modern world where we can eat any fruit at any time of year, where heating and air conditioning mean our environments are at an ideal temperature all the time means we can be cut off from the experience of the seasons, of the earth. This week we celebrate our deep, spiritual connection to all life and find ways to remember the joy of fallow times, time of growth, and times of abundance. This week take time to connect to nature and find God in the land.
