Last week we had another great leadership team meeting. So many things are moving together on the 5 year plan. We are planning to complete Phase 1 by September 1st and will start on Phase 2 this fall. If you are part of the parish be dreaming about how our common spaces such as hallways and stairwells might be part of our vision of hospitality and connection. We will also be thinking about the fellowship hall and how to improve that space. New flooring will definitely be part of the plan. Do some imagining and let your holy creativity run!
For those of you a bit farther afield please be praying for the leadership team as they complete the Phase 1 work over the summer and dream about Phase 2. In the next few months we will be repairing the sign on Cesar Chavez Blvd, making the basement restrooms single user spaces, finishing the flooring & other updates to the conference room (formerly the nursery), finishing the memorial room decor, and finishing the rest stop!
Like I posted last week we will also be choosing a new name for this endeavor to help the community know they are welcome at the Trinity Building. We will be painting a mural with our new name for this portion of our ministry on the Steele Street side of the building, where the rotten letters were removed lat year.
Thank you to everyone who has given time, sweat, energy, financial gifts, and more to these project to help our church be more engaged with our neighbors as we follow God.
