This Sunday at noon we will gather at the Trinity building for our annual all church conference. This is the annual organizational meeting of the faith community where we elect all of our leaders, set the compensation for our clergy, and share with our district superintendent about the work and vision of our community. This year we will also be talking about the Bishop’s priority around Dismantling Racism and about our understanding of our place in the future of the United Methodist Church in light of the split occurring around matters of human sexuality and gender identity.
It’s an opportunity for al of us to give thanks for the resources we have, the work God is doing through us, and to be held accountable to our connectional church. You can find the bulk of the reports here. There are a few other items linked to below as well.
It is wonderful to take time each year to assess our progress, look to the future, and spend time with out District Superintendent. I hope you can join us on Sunday
