This month we begin our parish discernment process. We are collecting answers to the question What is God calling us to in this moment?
Our leadership team kickstarted us with a list of ideas generated at our retreat in July. You can find the whole list here.
There are 3 ways to add your ideas:
- In person at our worship gathering spaces
- On line with our jamboard
- Through the mail either traditional or e.
For option one we will have sticky notes on the sanctuary and at the SFC house. Simply write your idea on a note and stick it on the sheet on the wall. Ideas will be recorded and added to the list!
Option two is basically online version of the sticky note and sheet. Access the jamboard link. You can scroll up top to page 2 to see all the ideas so far. Then go back to page one. On the menu on the left hand side click the add sticky button, which is the fourth option from the top. Use the menu at the top to pick your color and then simply type your idea. Click save and your note will appear! You can click on the note and drag it anywhere on the page.
With option three just use our contact the parish link at the bottom of the front page of our website or mail something to the Trinity building at 3915 SE Steele St Portland, OR 97202 or email Pastor Eilidh!
We will spend all of September collecting ideas so please pray and think and add whatever God is placing on your heart. We know we can’t do it all so the leadership team will spend some time refining a list for us to work with in Mid-October through Mid-November with another process until finally we will have a new direction and dream in January.
