For several year now we have been part of the  Southeast Portland Collective youth group which includes United Methodist, Lutheran, and Presbyterian Churches. Every year the youth participate in a week of service projects in to serve our neighbors and learn about the ways we as Christians are called to care for one another.  This year the group had planned to go to White Swan, Washington to serve on the Yakama reservation and learn about Native American culture and social justice issues. With that trip cancelled our youth sought out other ways to gather together safely and serve their neighbors.

They decided to coordinate a drive for one of the only agencies still able to serve our houseless neighbors Portland during the pandemic, Blanchet House.

The youth will be collecting items in the Trinity parking lot on Friday August 14th from 2-3pm. You can also drop off items at Creator Lutheran Thursday the 13th from 4-5pm or at Moreland Pres the 14th from 4-5pm.  Please check your closets for any of the following needed items and bring them to the Trinity parking lot the 14th!  Please do not bring items that are not listed below.
