This past month we launched our website for SFC, sellwoodfaithcommunity.org . It’s a great place to check out our calendar, read the week’s new blog, and learn more about what we are doing and who we are. One of our members created it for us and she is available as a free lance website designer at a reasonable price. Just contact me for her information!

The Sellwood Faith Community is an experimental church committed to relational ministry with our neighbors. We long to tend our spirits in ways that are vibrant and connected to our daily lives. We are a progressive, intergenerational congregation grounded in the United Methodist tradition located in the Sellwood neighborhood of SE Portland, Oregon. We invite you to bring your questions, deepest longings, and stories and join us at the table.
If you have ever wondered about the specifics of the events on our calendar our what we do page has brief explanations of what to expect at each gathering. It’s a great way to see the vibrancy and range of this ministry. All of it has come from the people of this community, shaping by their passions the direction of our efforts.
Those of you who have inquired about financial support will be glad to know you can just click on our support page to donate. You can also support us by praying for us, sending us good vibes, referring people to our community who might be interested, sending words of encouragement, or telling us about ideas that might spark creative and relational work in our community though our connect page.
It is so great to be taking yet another step on our journey as a faith community with this latest piece of communication and connection!
