A creative collaboration between Trinity United Methodist Church and Sellwood Faith Community
Our community exists to embody the love of God in our world because we believe everyone needs a safe space to be loved for who they are already.
Sellwood Faith Community is an experimental church committed to relational ministry with our neighbors. We long to tend our spirits in ways that are vibrant and connected to our daily lives. We are a progressive, intergenerational congregation that was planted from the Sellwood Faith House in 2013 by Revs Jeff & Eilidh Lowery. We started with serving our neighbors and gathering for meals together. We invite you to bring your questions, deepest longings, and stories and join us at the table or in building relationships with our nieghbors.
We collaborated with Trinity UMC in 2017, creating the SE Portland Parish. This creative collaboration brings traditional church and new expressions together in vibrant community.
