As part of our work as clergy in our area we are reading the amazing book See No Stranger: a Manifesto of Revolutionary Love by Valerie Kaur.  Twice a month I will be gathering with a small group of other area United Methodist Pastors to explore and discuss the book and our learnings.  Our District Superintendent Tim Overton-Harris is facilitating these conversations.  So far we have met once and the conversation was amazing. There will be an opportunity of lay people to join conversations this winter.  I would encourage all of you to watch her Ted Talk below and read the book if this sparks your interest.

The ethic of love is an important one as we continue to do our work as a congregation and community!
