Sellwood Faith Community is an experimental church committed to relational ministry with our neighbors. We long to tend our spirits in ways that are vibrant and connected to our daily lives. We are a progressive, intergenerational congregation that was planted from the Sellwood Faith House in 2013 by Revs Jeff & Eilidh Lowery. We started with serving our neighbors and gathering for meals together. Right now we are in a period of discernment as to how we live out this experiment next.
We collaborated with Trinity UMC in 2017, creating the SE Portland Parish. This creative collaboration brings traditional church and new expressions together in vibrant community.
