A creative collaboration between Trinity United Methodist Church and Sellwood Faith Community
Our community exists to embody the love of God in the world because we believe everyone needs a safe space to be loved for who they are already.
Everyone Needs
…to know that they matter. We are all connected, and the practice of our faith calls us to respond to those in need of care, resources, and love in Southeast Portland and in our larger community. Our hope is to be available and able to respond to needs as they arise. Some of the ways we respond are in feeding hungry school children in partnership with local schools, disrupting trauma cycles in first responders, providing low cost summer day camps for children, and partering with various agencies to care for our houseless neighbors. We believe that the nature of our shared life together in this world calls us to ensure that we are contributing to justice and compassion to those both within and outside of our Parish.
